MUIHC is committed to providing culturally relevant mental health therapy to individuals, groups, couples, and families. Our Behavioral Health team aims to help eligible American Indian clients with mental health symptom reduction, evaluate client risk and level of functioning, and support transition and/or adjustment to an urban lifestyle.
Our outpatient therapy services focus on centering your health goals in indigenous healing. We provide a broad scope of healing opportunities to each client based on their needs. Outpatient treatment is typically offered for up to eight hours of counseling a week per client; intensive outpatient treatment can be up to 30 hours of group or individual therapy per week.
We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party reimbursement. We also implement a sliding fee scale for payment of services. Eligible Native American clients can contact The Missoula Urban Indian Health Center at 406.829.9515 to register for services and/or determine eligibility.
