It is our treatment philosophy that Chemical Dependency is a disease that not only impacts individuals, but also families as well as entire communities.
Our goal it to reach as many of our Native community as possible and restore health & wellness to those affected by addiction. The program at the Missoula Urban Indian Health Center is open to individuals of Non-Native descent as well.
Services offered at MUIHC:
- Chemical Dependency Evaluations/Assessments
- Outpatient Treatment: Up to 8 hours of individual/group counseling a week, but generally 1 session each week.
- Intensive Outpatient Treatment: Up to 30 hours of group/individual therapy per week, but generally 9-group hours and 1-individual per week.
- Information and Referral Services: Residential In-patient treatment referral and other community services.
