Chemical Dependency

The Chemical Dependency Program is designed to provide services for individuals who have problems associated with Substance Abuse or Dependency.
It is our treatment philosophy that Chemical Dependency is a disease that not only impacts individuals, but also families as well as entire communities.

Our goal it to reach as many of our Native community as possible and restore health & wellness to those affected by addiction. The program at the Missoula Urban Indian Health Center is open to individuals of Non-Native descent as well.

Services offered at MUIHC:

  • Chemical Dependency Evaluations/Assessments
  • Outpatient Treatment: Up to 8 hours of individual/group counseling a week, but generally 1 session each week.
  • Intensive Outpatient Treatment: Up to 30 hours of group/individual therapy per week, but generally 9-group hours and 1-individual per week.
  • Information and Referral Services: Residential In-patient treatment referral and other community services.
  • Mental Health Screenings
